The macho Warrior Sparring Gear uses the same patented foam dipped nylon material as Dyna Sparring Gear but has a unique new design that provides more protection to the areas theat need it most. Each piece of Warrior Sparring Gear has up to an inch of additional padding embedded in it. This additional padding will absorb more shock from impacts keeping sensitive parts of the body like fingers, ears, temples and ankles safer. This set includes the three essential pieces of sparring gear required by most dojos along with a mouth guard. These are very light. I used these against a person that I was sparring with him I would always lose but now these things are better than the dyna ones.

This gear is great. I spar frequently, and this gear not only keeps me safe, but it also outlasts most other gears that I have tried. I love that I can get it in different colors to fit my personal style.

I am very pleased with the set of warrior sparring gear that I purchased on-line at Karate Depot. I'm a beginner in Isshinryu Karate and was concerned about the sparring aspect of learning. Having this equipment has given me confidence to spar and not worry about the strikes that make contact to the head. I feel very protected with this gear and am impressed with its ability to cushion any blow. I realize these sets don't last forever due to the abuse they see in the martial arts realm and when it's time for me to replace this set, I will happily purchase the same one again. Thanks for the opportunity to share my experience!

Great value at the price. The pink is HOT. We could have done without the store logo on the headgear, but it doesn't bother her.

Headgear

Measure the circumference of the head at about an inch above the eyebrows to determine your proper headgear size. It's easy! Wrap a string around your head and measure the string.

To determine correct size, measure the distance across the lowest knuckles (the knuckles you punch with) of the 4 upper fingers (all the fingers except the thumb). Measure by laying knuckles flat on a ruler.
